توبہ کرنے سے وہ جب سارے گناہ دھوتا ہے
When He washes away all sins upon seeking forgiveness
جا کے پھر کیوں تو مزاروں پے بھلا روتا ہے
Then why do you go to weep at tombs?
کیوں مزاروں کو وسیلہ بنا کے بیٹھے ہو
Why do you seek your path through these tombs?
اک الگ اپنا قبیلہ بنا کے بیٹھے ہو
Why have you made a tribe of your own?
رسول اللہﷺ بھی اللہ سے دعا کرتے تھے
The Messenger (PBUH) of Allah would also pray to Allah
ولی اللہ بھی اللہ ہی کا دم بھرتے تھے
Even Allah’s Custodian would invoke Him alone
جب صحابہؓ پہ کوئی وقت برا آتا تھا
When the Companions (RA) would be faced with hardship
انکے ہونٹوں پہ بھی اللہ ہی کا نام آتا تھا
Only Allah’s name would escape their lips
علماء ایماں بھی سب اللہ سے رجوع ہوتے تھے
All the scholars would approach Allah alone
انکے ہر کام بسم اللہ سے شروع ہوتے تھے
And start each action with Bismillah
تو بھی اللہ کو بس چاہنے والا بن جا
Why don’t you also become the beloved of Allah alone?
اپنے اللہ کو فقط مانگنے والا بن جا
And ask what you need from Him alone?
کون کہتا ہے وسیلے کے بنا کچھ نہ ملے
Who says that mediation is necessary?
میں یہ کہتا ہوں کہ سجدے کے بنا کچھ نہ ملے
I say that unless you prostrate there is nothing
ایک پتھر کے بھی کیڑے کو غزا دیتا ہے
He feeds the insect lying within the rock
اور وہ کیڑا تو وسیلہ بھی نہیں لیتا ہے
Who does not even invoke any mediator
کیوں سمجھتے نہیں مردے نہ کبھی بولیں گے
Why don’t you understand that the dead can never speak?
رب کی مرضی کے بنا لب نہ کبھی کھولیں گے
Those lips will not move until Allah commands them
رب سے مردوں کے وسیلہ سے مانگنے والوں
You who seek mediation with Allah from the dead
گھر میں مرشد کی فوٹوؤں کو ٹانگنے والوں
And you who adorn your walls with their portraits
تو سمجھتا ہے تیرا رب تیری سنتا ہی نہیں
Do you think that your Lord does not listen to you?
بات جھوٹی ہے یہ ناداں تو سمجھتا ہی نہیں
Why don’t you understand that you are believing a lie?
وہ ریاکار کی بدکار کی بھی سنتا ہے
He listens to even the worst of people
حد تو یہ ہے کہ گناہگار کی بھی سنتا ہے
He even listens to the sinners
رب ہے تیرے لیے اور تو بنا ہے رب کے لیے
The Creator is for you and you are for Him alone
رب کے پیاروں سنوں رب کا ہے کرم سب کے لیے
Listen, the Creator’s beloved ones, His mercy is for everyone
جس پہ ہو رب کا کرم اسے پھر کوئی نہ غم
And whom He chooses to bless has nothing to worry
ادھر اُدھر نہ بھٹک دین سے سیدھی وہ سڑک
Do not go astray from the straight path of the religion
ہے ارادہ جو اٹل کر لے سنت پہ عمل
Firm up your resolve and act on the Sunnah
شہ رگ کے ہے وہ قریب بنا لے اپنا نصیب
Make Him your fate who lies closer than your jugular
جان دوزخ سے بچا خود کو بدعت سے بچا
Save yourself from Hellfire by staying away from innovation
توبہ کرنے سے جب وہ سارے گناہ دھوتا ہے
When He washes away all sins upon seeking forgiveness
جا کہ پھر کیوں تو مزاروں پہ بھلا روتا ہے
Then why do you go to weep at tombs
سونا منظر ہے مساجد کا میری آنکھوں میں
The vision of desolate mosques fills my eyes
اور درگاہوں کی کمائی ہے اب لاکھوں میں
While the shrines earn in hundreds of thousands
چادریں اب تو ہزاروں کی چڑھا کرتی ہیں
While the spreading of veils alone costs thousands
عورتیں بھی تو مزاروں پے گرا کرتی ہیں
Women also bow at these shrines
عاملوں کے بھی یہاں بھیڑ لگی رہتی ہے
And scholars throng at these places too
ہر رنگ با رنگ کی یہ محفل بھی سجی رہتی ہے
Gatherings of all sorts are held here
دھواں اُڑھا اُڑھا کہ جب وہ دعا کرتے ہیں
And prayers are made amidst puffs of smoke
عقل کے اندھے ان کے پاؤں چُھوا کرتے ہیں
The ignorant ones kiss their feet
کیوں بڑھے تیرا ادب ایسے بے ادب کے لیئے
O, why do you show respect to those disrespecting ones?
رب کے پیاروں سنو رب کا کرم ہے سب کے لیئے
Listen, the Creator’s beloved ones, His mercy is for everyone
