It is the month when the Quran was revealed
مرحبا مرحبا آیا رمضان ہے
Welcome! Welcome! The month of Ramadan is here
آج ہے چارسو رحمتیں برکتیں
It is the day when blessings are all around us
ہے خُدا کی عطا ماہِ فیضان ہے
This month of blessings is a gift from God
ہر قدم شکرِ رب تُم کرو بس ادا
Thank your God at every step
ماہِ رمضاں ملا اِس کا احسان ہے
It is His favor that we have received this month
ماہِ رمضان میں خوب کر نیکیاں
Do as many good deeds in the month of Ramadan
یہ ہمارے محمدؐ کا پیارا فرمان ہے
This is the sweet message of our Muhammad (PBUH)
خوب قرآن پڑھو رب کی جانب بڑھو
Recite the Quran and move closer to your God
دردِ دل کی دوا ذکرِ رحمان ہے
Remembering God is the cure for your heart’s ills
اِس مہینے کو جس نے بھی ضائع کیا
Whosoever wastes this month
ہاتھ ملتا رہا ہے پشیمان ہے
Would wring their hands in shame
بخش دے میری ہر اک خطا اے خُدا
Forgive all my errors, My Lord!
تیری بخشش کا طالب یہ ازلان ہے
This Azlan seeks your forgiveness
