سکونِ دل ہے یوں طیبہ کی گلیوں میں چلے جانا

Walking down the pure lanes is the way to peace

فضاؤں میں مہکتی خوشبوؤں کو آپ کی پانا

Like taking in the sweet scents of the air

نظر نے دل کی میری نور کی بارش کو تھا دیکھا

My heart’s eyes had witnessed a luminous rain

برستی رحمتوں کو جزب ہوتے دل میں تھا پایا

And soaked in the blessings that poured down the sky

محبت میں نبیؐ کی مست ہو کر رب سے میں کہتا

Rapt in the love of the Prophet (PBUH) I had asked the Creator

مدینے میں نبیؐ کے یہ دعا ہے کاش میں رہتا

I wish I could stay in the Madina of my Prophet (PBUH)

شفاعت کی طلب لے کر میرا روضے پہ وہ جانا

I would visit his grave in hopes of healing

گناہوں پہ تھا شرمندہ سہارا حوصلہ پانا

I was ashamed of my sins, I wanted encouragement

بلندی کیا ہے میں جانا نبیؐ کے در پہ جب پہنچا

I realized what greatness means after reaching the Prophet’s (PBUH) doorstep

قطاروں میں غلاموں کو جگر تھامے کھڑے دیکھا

As I saw his servants lined up in anticipation

عقیدت بڑھ ہی جائے گی مدینے جا کے تو دیکھو

Your faith will strengthen in Madinah, visit it and see

نصیبوں کی بلندی ہے ذرا تم آکے تو دیکھو

Your fortunes will improve, come and see

تخیّل کی فضاؤں میں تصور ہے جو جنّت کا

All that you can imagine about Paradise

مدینے میں ہی جنّت ہے ذرا تم جا کے تو دیکھو

You will find it in Madinah, come and see
