خوابِ غفلت سے نکل جا ایک دن مرنا بھی ہے
“From the slumber of negligence, one day you shall depart;
اے مسلماں اب سنبھل جا ایک دن مرنا بھی ہے
O Muslim, now brace yourself, for one day you shall depart.
چار دن کی روشنی ہے پھر اندھیری رات ہے
Light of four days, then a dark night,
آج موقع ہے بدل جا ایک دن مرنا بھی ہے
Today is the opportunity, change yourself, for one day you shall depart.
جو غمِ امت نبیؐ کے سینہءِ اطہر میں تھا
The grief of the Prophet’s Ummah that resided in the purest heart,
اُس غمِ امت میں گُھل جا ایک دن مرنا بھی ہے
Merge into that grief of the Ummah, for one day you shall depart.
جس طرف قرآن جنت کی بشارت دے تُجھے
Towards the direction where the Quran gives tidings of paradise,
اُس طرف فوراً نکل جا ایک دن مرنا بھی ہے
Head towards it swiftly, for one day you shall depart.
ابتدا سے دینِ برحق کا تقاضا ہے یہی
From the beginning, the demand of the true faith is this,
دین کے سانچے میں ڈھل جا ایک دن مرنا بھی ہے
Mold yourself within the framework of religion, for one day you shall depart.
فکر کر اذلان ہردم آنے والے وقت کی
“Be mindful of the impending time, Azlan.”
ہر بدی سے آج ٹٙل جا ایک دن مرنا بھی ہے
Evade every calamity today, for one day you shall depart.”
