The Quran says that Hussain (RA) continues to live
جو مرگیا حسینؓ تمہارا حسینؓ تھا
The Hussain (RA) who died was yours
زندہ جو آج تک ہے ہمارا حسینؓ ہے
Our Hussain (RA) is alive even today
مت مت بُرا بنا کے گھماؤ گلی گلی
Do not hold parades through the streets
تم کیا سمجھ رہے ہو تماشا حسینؓ ہے
Do you think Hussain (RA) is a performance?
اپنے چچاکوسیدالشہداء نبی کہے
The Prophet (PBUH) calls his uncle Syed ul Shuhada
تم کہ رہے ہو سیدالشہداء حسینؓ ہے
And you say that Hussain (RA) is Syed ul Shuhada
تم کہ رہے ہو کٹ گۓ میدان میں اہلِ بیت
You say that the Ahl al-Bayt were slaughtered in the ground
ہم کہ رہے ہیں جنگ میں جیتا حسینؓ ہے
We say that Hussain (RA) won in the war
