میرا دل یہ قابو سے جانے لگا ہے
My heart is growing restless
مدینہ نبیؐ کا وہ آنے لگا ہے
My Prophet’s (PBUH) Madinah city is nearing
میری خشک آنکھیں بہانے لگا ہے
My dry eyes have become watery
عقیدت میری یہ بڑھانے لگا ہے
The city is increasing my attachment
مدینے کی گلیاں، وہ مسجد نبیؐ کی
The lanes of Madinah, the Prophet’s (PBUH) mosque
مقدّر مجھے سب دکھانے لگا ہے
My fate is showing me these wonderful sights
مسلسل ہے بارش وہاں رحمتوں کی
Mercy rains endlessly there
چلو نور سے دل نہانے لگا ہے
My heart is awash in light
تبسّم ہوا کا وہ خوشبو کو پاکر
The wind has become filled with fragrance
عجم کی ہوا کو رلانے لگا ہے
The breeze from the east is making me cry
جہاں پر ہے روضہ بدیع الزماں کا
Where stands the tomb of Badi Uz Zaman
مجھے رب وہاں پر لے جانے لگا ہے
My Lord is taking me towards there
نبیؐ کی محبت میں سرشار ہو کر
Drenched in the love of the Prophet (PBUH)
نشہ بے خودی کا سا چھانے لگا ہے
I am starting to lose myself
وہیں پر رہوں میں تمنا ہے میری
My desire is to stay there forever
تخیّل میں دل گھر بنانے لگا ہے
My imagination has started to build a home there
نبیؐ نے جو پودا لگایا تھا عاجز
The tree planted by the Prophet
کھجوریں وہ عجوہ کی کھانے لگا ہے
Ajiz is now eating the Ajwa dates from it
لڑی میں پرو کر عقیدت کے جزبے
After stringing the emotions of faith
انہیں نعت عاجز سنانے لگا ہے
Ajiz is now reciting verses of praise
میری زندگی کو خدایا بڑھانا
O Lord, make my life long
کہ ملنے کا موقع یہ آنے لگا ہے
For now comes the time of my meeting
پریشان بڑا ہوں جو واپس ہے جانا
I am sad that I will have to return
ابھی سے میرا دل ستانے لگا ہے
My heart is getting worried now
یہ حمّاد دیکھو! ادب کی ہے منزل
Look here, Hammad! Such is the respect
توُ معراج قسمت کی پانے لگا ہے
You are experiencing the ascension
