پوری اب اس خواب کی تعبیر ہونی چاہیۓ

اس وطن میں امن کی تشہیر ہونی چاہیۓ

Peace should be promoted throughout this land

سالمّیت ملک و ملّت کی بڑے خطرے میں ہے

The stability of the country and nation is in danger

ہے تقاضا وقت کا تقریر ہونی چاہیۓ

It is the need of the hour to have a speech

کھوکھلے نعروں کی اب تو باخدا حاجت نہیں

Empty slogans are not what we need

قوم کے جزبات کی تعمیر ہونی چاہیۓ

We should give form to the desires of the nation

خاتمہ کردے لٹیروں کا جو سارے شہر سے

One that can drive away the crooks from the city

ایسی اِک تحریک عالم گیر ہونی چاہیۓ

Such a movement should become universal

تیرا دشمن تیری خاکستر سے بھی گھبراۓ گا

Your enemy will fear the dust in your tracks

ہاتھ میں اے نوجواں شمشیر ہونی چاہیۓ

The youth should carry a spear in their hands

جزبہء اقبال و غالب چاہیۓ اور اس کے ساتھ

You need the passion of Iqbal and Ghalib

خوش بیانی مثلِ فیض و مِیر ہونی چاہیۓ

But also the articulateness of Faiz and Mir

چاہتے ہو سرخرویٔی تو اے زینی قلب میں

O Zaini, if you desire to overcome, then in your heart

سنّت و قرآن کی تنویر ہونی چاہیۓ

The Quran and Sunnah must remain firm and strong
