On one side is the self
اک طرف ہے خدا
On another is God
اک طرف خواہشیں
On one side are desires
اک طرف مصطفیﷺ
On another is Mustafa (PBUH)
اک طرف رات بھر بے سبب جاگنا
On one side is staying up uselessly all night
اک طرف نیک بندے ہیں محوئے دعا
On another pious people are engrossed in prayer
اک طرف غیر محرم کو تکنے کا غم
On one side there is worry about sighting a forbidden person
اک طرف حکم نیچی نگاہ ہو صدا
On another is the command to keep a low gaze
اک طرف بھٹکے لوگوں کی آوارگی
On one side are waylaid people going astray
اک طرف اہلِ ایمان کا قافلہ
On another is the caravan of the faithful
اک طرف بے سکونوں کی اک بِھیڑ ہے
On one side are crowds of restless people
اک طرف پُرسکوں زندگی کا پتہ
On another is the path to a peaceful life
اک طرف ناچ گانوں کے شوقین ہیں
On one side are lovers of song and dance
اک طرف فکرِ اُمت لئے مدرسہ
On another are madrassas for thinking about the Ummah
اک طرف قہقہوں پرلگیں قہقہے
On one side are sounds of loud laughter
اک طرف حالِ اُمت پہ ہیں غمزدہ
On another people are worried about the state of the Ummah
اک طرف جھوٹ پر ہے سیاست کھڑی
On one side politics is done with lies
اک طرف دینِ اسلام کے خیرخواہ
On another are well-wishers of Islam
اک طرف ہے تبرأ و بغض و حسد
On one side are arrogance, hatred and envy
اک طرف مدحتِ والدِ عائشہؓ
On another is praise for the father is Aisha (RA)
اک طرف بدعت و شرک کا زور ہے
On one side is the force of shirk and innovation
اک طرف رب سے ہونے کا داعی کھڑا
On another is the one who brings nearer to God
اک طرف راہِ شیطاں کی تاریکیاں

On one side are scheming minds

On another is the ideology of my ancestors

On one side is concern to make the world better
اک طرف روزِ محشر کا ہے تذکرہ
On another is talk about the Day of Reckoning
اک طرف کفر کے ظلمتوں کی گھٹن
On one side is suffocation from the cruelties of disbelief
اک طرف دین کے نور کا راستہ
On another the light of the way of faith
اک طرف بیوقوفی ہے جاں وارنا
On one side sacrificing one’s life is a folly
اک طرف فکر ہے جاں یہ کردوں فدا
On another is the desire to sacrifice life
اک طرف غیر محرم سے سرگوشیاں
On one side are hushed talks with forbidden strangers
