مسجدِ نبوی میں سجدوں کی اجازت چاہوں
I seek permission to prostrate in the Masjid e Nabawi
گنبدِ خضریٰ کے سائے میں تلاوت چاہوں
I want to recite the Quran in the shade of the green dome
اشکِ توبہ لیے دیکھوں میں ریاض الجنہ
Wish I could see the Riaz ul Jannah with eyes filled with repentant tears
تب مناجات میں آقاؐ کی اطاعت چاہوں
I want to seek obedience of the Master (PBUH) through my plaintive chants
جس عبادت کے لیے پیدا کیا ہے رب نے
The worship for which the Lord created me
میں اسی رب سے وہ اندازِ عبادت چاہوں
I desire the same manner of worship from the Lord
خوف و امید سے مصروفِ دعا رب سے
My prayers to the Lord are filled with fear and hope
جو خشیت وہاں اعلی وہ خشیت چاہوں
I wish for the God-fearing nature that is desired by God
روضہِ پاک ہے صدیقؓ وعمرؓ بھی ہیں یہاں
Here stands the sacred chamber, Siddique (RA) and Umar (RA) are present too
ذہِ قسمت کہ میں اب کون سی نعمت چاہوں
So fortunate am I that what more can I ask for
مال و ذر عہدہ و منصب نہ طلب شہرت کی
Neither money nor gold, neither status nor position, nor fame do I seek
میرے مولا میں تیرے دین کی خدمت چاہوں
My Lord, I only seek to serve your faith
