آشنائےخداعلماء دین ہیں
The scholars of religion are familiar with God
وارث الانبیاءعلماء دین ہیں
The scholars of religion are the inheritors of the prophets
مسئلہ دین ہو یا ہو دنیا کوئی
Be it worldly matters or matters of faith
خیرکا فیصلہ علماء دین ہیں!!!
The religious scholars give a beneficial solution
رب کو راضی کرو، کیسے بتلاتے ہیں
They tell us how to please the Lord
رب کے جو باوفا علماء دین ہیں !!!
After all, the scholars are loyal to God
تھوڑی تنخواہ پہ کرتے ہیں گزران وہ
They survive on a limited salary
پھر بھی راضی رضا علماء دین ہیں!!!
Even then the religious scholars are content
چاہے فاقے بھی آجائیں گھر میں مگر
Even if they suffer starvation in their homes
کچھ نہ کرتے بیاں علماء دین ہیں!!!
They still continue to preach good things
دور ہے مَعصیت کا مگر آج بھی
These are sinful and evil times
دل میں تقوٰی بھرا علماء دین ہیں!!!
But the hearts of religious scholars are filled with piety
مُلک در مُلک میں رب کی باتیں کریں
They preach about God from country to country
جن سے شیطاں خفا علماء دین ہیں!!!
The devil is angry at the religious scholars
سوچتا کیا ہے خدمت تو کر اے کلیم
Stop thinking, O Kaleem, and start serving
تیرے اُستاد بھی علماء دین ہیں!!!
Your teachers are also religious scholars
