Open the Quran, read it, be mindful of the end

اور بنا آیتوں ہی کو نورِ نظر

Make these verses the light of your eyes

کیوں بتاتا ہے لوگوں کو تو حالِ دل

Why do you tell people what’s in your heart

بس مصلیٰ بچھا اور مناجات کر

Simply spread out the prayer mat and pray to God

ذکر و اذکارِ مسنونہ اپنا لے تو

Adopt the authentic recitations and prayers

دل سکوں سے ترا ہوگا پھر تر بہ تر

Your heart will become drenched in peace and calm

یہ نمازیں تو مومن کی معراج ہیں

These prayers are the ladder for the faithful

کر نوافل ادا اور ملاقات کر

Offer nawafil and get ready for the glorious meeting

نیک اعمال اور صرف خوفِ خدا

Only good deeds and fear of the Creator

آخرت کا ہیں شاہین ، زادِ سفر

Shaheen, these are the only provisions for the Hereafter
