نگاہیں تلوار کی ہیں مانند دفاع ہے اسکا یہ ڈھال پردہ
The eyes are like swords; the veil is her protecting shield.
ملا ہے پروردگار سے یہ عظیم اور بے مثال پردہ
The veil is a unique and incomparable gift from ALLAH.
خدا کا قانون آج تک ہے جو پاک ہے وہ چھپا ہوا ہے
This is God’s law to this day; whatever is holy is hidden.
غلاف کعبہ غلاف قرآن خود خدا کا جلال پردہ
Cover of the Kaaba, cover of the Qur’an, even the glory of God Himself is in the veil.
حضور اقدسؐ کی بیٹیاں ہو تو فاطمہ کو بھی یاد کرلو
If you are the daughters of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H), then remember Fatima (R.A) too.
گواہ ہے تاریخ آج بھی دیکھ فاطمہ کا کمال پردہ
Her perfect veil is still talked about to this day.
لباس کے نام کو بدل کر رکھا ہے فیشن یہ نام اسکا
The name of the dress has been changed to “Fashion”.
فریب شیطان سے نہ کھاؤ نئی بنی ہے یہ چال پردہ
Don’t be deceived by the devil; this is a new trick against the veil.
چھپا ہے بے پردگی کے پیچھے وہ بد نمائی کا ایک منظر
Behind the unveiling is a scene of disgrace.
وہ خوبصورت حسین چہرے کا راز ہے اک جمال پردہ
The secret of a beautiful face is also a veil.
یہ زندگی ہے نہ قید خانا جسم یہ آزاذ بھی نہیں ہے
Neither this life a prison, nor is the body free.
وہ بیچ رستہ حضورؐ نے جو بتایا ہے اعتدال پردہ
The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) has given a middle way out, even for the veil.
جواب جب بھی سنیں تصور میرے جسم پر ہے میری مرضی
Whenever he hears the answer; “my body my choice,” Tasawwur (poet) thinks,
وہ بھول بیٹھے کہ سامنے جب خدا کے ہوگا سوال پردہ
They have forgotten that they will be asked about the veil before God.
