This life is mortal, don’t live it in hatred.
دو دن کی ہے کہانی نفرت سے نہیں جینا
It’s a two-day story, don’t live it in hatred.
خوشیاں ہزار لیکر ہر سمت بانٹ دینا
Take a thousand joys and share them in every direction.
نفرت ذدہ دلوں کو الفت سے ڈانٹ دینا
Rebuked the hated hearts with love.
پرکیف زندگانی نفرت سے نہیں جینا
Life is felicitous, don’t live it in hatred.
رستے میں ہر کسی کو کرنا سلام پیارے
O Dear! Say “Salam” to everyone along the way.
ہے پیار کا ہی اچھا سب سے کلام پیارے
O Dear! The best word is love.
بس یاد رکھنا جانی نفرت سے نہیں جینا
O Dear! Just remember, don’t live it (life) in hatred.
دنیا میں خوش رہوگے لڑنا نہیں کسی سے
You will be happy in the world, don’t fight with anyone.
ہر پل گزار دینا ہنستے ہوئے خوشی سے
Spend every moment laughing happily.
رہ جائے گی جوانی نفرت سے نہیں جینا
There will be youth left; don’t live with hatred.
انسانیت کی خاطر انساں پہ رحم کرنا
Have mercy on human beings for the sake of humanity.
اہلِ شعور ہو تم حیواں پہ رحم کرنا
People of consciousness, have mercy on animals.
تیرا نہیں ہے ثانی نفرت سے نہیں رہنا
There is no one like you; don’t live with hatred.
یہ نفرتوں کے سائے الفت سے دور کر دیں
Take away the shadow of hatred through love
اخلاق کی دولت سے ہی اپنے دل کو بھر دیں
Fill your heart with the wealth of morality.
اخلاق کی نشانی نفرت سے نہیں جینا
A sign of morality; not living with hatred.
غالب محبتوں کے جو دیپ جل رہے ہیں
Ghalib (poet) the lamps of love are burning.
دیوانے الفتوں کے اک ساتھ چل رہے ہیں
Those crazy in love; walk the same path.
ہے رب کی مہربانی نفرت سے نہیں جینا
By the grace of the Lord, do not live in hatred.
