آج اس گفتگو کی شروعات ہے

جس کوسن کر کہیں سب کہ کیا بات ہے

اس میں ہے خوب توحید کا ہی بیاں

رب کی قدرت ہے ، قوت ہے اس میں عیاں

کررہا ہوں میں تخلیقِ آدم بیاں

جس کے شاہد ہیں سورج ، زمین آسماں

ہیں ملائک جو کرتے ہیں رب کی ثنا

وقف ہیں بس اسی میں وہ صبح و مسا

خوب معصوم تھے ، پاک تھے، نور تھے

اپنے اپنے فریضے پہ مامور تھے

تب خدا نے بنا ڈالا انسان کو

اپنے نائب بھی فرمایا انسان کو

حکمِ ربی ہوا میری طاعت کرو

نفس ہے ساتھ لیکن عبادت کرو

اک فرشتے سے پھر یہ خدا نے کہا

یہ فرشتہ ہے سب جان لیں موت کا

جا کے دنیا سے مٹھی میں مٹی بھرو

اور پھر اس کو پانی میں تم گوندھ دو

ہاں یہ مٹی تھی انواع و اقسام کی

سارے رنگوں ، رویوں کی، ہر کام کی

تھوڑی سختی ، کہیں نرمی شامل ہوئی

تب یہ انسان بننے کی حامل ہوئی

پانیوں میں اسے خوب گوندھا گیا

اور آنے لگی بو ، جو گارا بنا

چپچپاہٹ تھی مٹی میں ، قرآں میں ہے

اک لچک سی لچک یوں ہی انسان میں ہے

یہ سیہ مٹی پھر خشک ہونے لگی

خشک ہونے پہ پھر کھنکھنانے لگی

کوزہ گر نے یہ کوزہ بنایا کمال

اس میں شامل کیے سب جمال و جلال

ایسے پتلا بنا ایک انسان کا

یعنی معنی بنا چشمِ حیران کا

روح ڈالی گئی ، بن گئی ایک ہست

جس کو ازبر تھا وہ اپنا عہدِ الست

یعنی کرنی ہے بس رب کی ہی پیروی

اس میں ہی خیر ہے دنیا کی ، عقبیٰ کی

جوں ہی نتھنوں تلک روح داخل ہوئی

بس اسی لمحے چھینکے وہ اور حمد کی

سب فرشتوں کو اللہ کا حکم تھا

بابا آدم کو یوں سب نے سجدہ کیا

یوں فرشتوں سے برتر بنایا گیا

اور جنت کو ہی گھر بنایا گیا

رب معلم تھا ، انسان شاگرد تھا

کیا سے کیا ہوگیا اس کا یوں مرتبہ

بعد میں حوا پسلی سے پیدا ہوئیں

اور پھر بابا آدم کی زوجہ بنیں

پھر چلی ان سے ہی نسل انسان کی

اور پلی اور بڑھی نسل انسان کی

کاش ہم رب کے نائب بنیں ٹھیک سے

اور بچیں رب کے بارے میں تشکیک سے

English Lyrics:
Today is the beginning of this conversation
That all who hear it will be amazed by it

It includes a discussion on the Oneness
And the powers of the Almighty, His strength shines through

I am narrating the creation of Adam (AS)
Whose witnesses include the sub, the land, and the heavens

And the angels who praise the Lord
They are engrossed in just that day and night

They were innocent, pure, and made of light
Each one appointed to a specific duty

Then the Lord created a human being
And nominated him as His vicegerent

The Lord commanded, “Obey me,”
“Your self is a reality, but you must worship Me”

Then God addressed one of the angels,
Let it be known this was the angel of death

Go to the land and take a fistful of earth
And then knead it with some water

For sure, this earth was a mix of different varieties
Of different colours, uses, and traits

Hard in some places, soft in some
That is how it could be made into Man

It was kneaded heavily in water
As it became dense, it emanated a smell

The earth was sticky, so says the Quran
It was flexible, which became the character of Man

This kneaded earth then began to dry
And upon drying, it began to sound

The magnificent Creator made this wonderful creation
And embodied within it all beauty and glory

And so was Man fashioned
But without any wondering sight

A soul was transmitted, and a person was created
Who remembered well the original covenant

That he should only follow the Creator
In that alone lies the wellbeing of the world and the Hereafter

As soon as the soul entered the nostrils
He sneezed instantly and praised the Lord

All the angels were commanded by Allah
And thus they bowed before Adam (AS)

And so was he created better than the angels
And Paradise was made his abode

The Lord was the teacher, and Man was the student
Such had become the relation between the two

Later, Hawwa (AS) was created from the muscle
And became the wife of Adam (AS)

And the human race continued from him
And increased from one generation to the next

May we become the deserving vicegerents of the Lord
And may we be saved from hesitating about our Lord
