صبح و شام تو ہوتی ہے دن پے رات بھی آتی ہے
Morning changes to evening and day changes to night
گھڑی ہر وقت یہ چلتی ہے رب کی ذات نا دِکھتی ہے
Time continues to march on but God is never visible
ہم حالات سے ڈرتے ہیں تب حسنات نا کرتے ہیں
When we fear our circumstances but do not recite the blessed names
رب کی یاد نا آتی ہے رب کی ذات نا دکھتی ہے
We do not remember God and fail to see Him
جو لذات میں جیتے ہیں بس شہوات پے مرتے ہیں
Those who live in sensual pleasures and die in lustful desires
اُن سے آگ یہ پوچھتی ہے رب کی ذات نا دکھتی ہے
The fire asks them, ‘Did you not know about God?’
جو شرکیات کرتے ہیں اور بدعات میں پڑتے ہیں
Those who associate others with God and practice innovations
آیت اُنہیں ڈراتی ہے رب کی ذات نا دکھتی ہے
The verses warn them, ‘Did you not know about God?’
سچی سوغات یہ بٹتی ہے سب برکات جو رکھتی ہے
The real gift that is distributed contains all the blessings
جنت ہمیں یہ کہتی ہے رب کی ذات نا دکھتی ہے
Paradise calls out to us, ‘Did you not know about God?’
