تنے تنہا ہی جانا ہے ہم نے کیا یہ سوچا ہے
We have to go from this place alone, have we thought about it?
تنے تنہا ہی رہنا ہے ہم نےکیا یہ سوچا ہے
Ultimately we are all alone, have we thought about it?
ملکُ الموت نے آنا ہے اپنے ساتھ لے جانا ہے
The angel of death will come and take us with him
اپنے الہ سے ملنا ہے ہم نے کیا یہ سوچا ہے
We have to meet our Creator, have we thought about it?
جوں ہی موت نےآنا ہے سب کچھ چھوٹ ہی جانا ہے
As soon as death arrives we will lose everything
ہمیں لمحہ نا رُکنا ہے ہم نےکیا یہ سوچا ہے
We will not stay a moment longer, have we thought about it?
تھوڑی دیرنا گزرے گی ہر سوں گونج یہ آئے گی
Before much time passes this will be heard everywhere
اِسے دفنا کے آنا ہے ہم نے کیا یہ سوچا ہے
‘We have to bury him now,’ have we thought about it?
وحدت پے ہی رہنا ہے سنّت سے نہ ہٹنا ہے
We have to hold on to Oneness and not waver from the Sunnah
تب ہی عقبیٰ نے بننا ہے ہم نے کیا یہ سوچا ہے
Only that is our desired end, have we thought about it?
نفع اُس کو ہی ملنا ہے بَھلا اُس نے ہی پانا ہے
Only he will get the benefit, only he will receive the goodness
فضل رب کا جو ہونا ہے ہم نے کیا یہ سوچا ہے
Whom the Lord will bless, have we thought about it?
