Mother, O my mother!
کل کائنات میری قدموں میں دو جہاں
My entire universe, my both worlds lie at these feet
کوئی نہیں ہے ایسا جیسی ہے میری ماں
There is nobody else like my mother
جس کے وجود میں ہے بس پیار کا سماں
Whose whole being is just about love

دنیا میں مامتا کی کوئی نہیں مثال
There is no better example of a mother’s love in this world
اولاد سے محبت ہے جس کی لازوال
Whose love for her child is everlasting
رب نے بنایا رشتہ ہے جس کا باکمال
The Lord has made this bond a great one
بچوں کے معاملے میں کردارِ اعتدال
Who brings up children in a balanced character
کتنی عظیم ہے تو کیسے کروں بیاں
How do I describe your greatness
کوئی نہیں ہے ایسا جیسی ہے میری ماں
There is nobody else like my mother
بچپن میں جس نے میرا جھولا جھلایا ہے
She who has gently swung me in my childhood
راتوں کو جاگ کربھی مجھ کو سلایا ہے
And stayed up all night long to make me sleep
لقمے نرم بناکر ہر پل کھلایا ہے
She has fed me soft morsels of food always
انگلی پکڑ کہ میری چلنا سکھایا ہے
And taught me how to walk while holding her finger
ہوتی تھی ساتھ میرے جاتا تھا میں جہاں
She was by my side wherever I went
کوئی نہیں ہے ایسا جیسی ہے میری ماں
There is nobody else like my mother
میں آج جو بھی کچھ ہوں بس ماں کی ہے دعا
What I am today is because of my mother’s prayers
مجھ پر رہے سلامت سایہ یہ آپ کا
May your shade always protect me
مشکل بھی کام میرا آسان ہو گیا
All my challenges became easy
ملنا نہیں تھا جو بھی وہ بھی مجھے ملا
I achieved more than what I was destined to have
جب ہاتھ ماں اٹھائے در کھولے آسماں
When a mother raises her hands to pray the heavens give way
کوئی نہیں ہے ایسا جیسی ہے میری ماں
There is nobody else like my mother
گھر سے ہوں جب نکلتا ماتھے کو چومنا
Her kissing my forehead when I leave the house
قرآن ماں کا پڑھ کر ہر روز پھونکنا
Her reciting the Quran for my protection every day
اے دل یہ ماں کی شفقت ہرگز نہ بھولنا
O heart, never forget the love of your mother
جس بات سے وہ روکے خود کو ہے روکنا
Stay away from acts that she prohibits
خدمت کروں گا تیری تجھ میں ہے میری جاں
I will serve you, you are my whole life
کوئی نہیں ہے ایسا جیسی ہے میری ماں
There is nobody else like my mother
اس زندگی میں تجھ سے الفت کروں گا میں
Throughout this life I will love you
تابع رہوں گا تیرے جب تک جیوں گا میں
I will be obedient to you for as long as I live
ماں کے لئے تصور فرحت بنوں گا میں
O Tasawwur, I will be the contentment for my mother
جنت کے راستے پر ہردم چلوں گا میں
I will always walk along the path to Paradise
رتبہ اویس قرنی کو کیوں ملا یہاں
Why else did Owais Qarni attain his high status
