رحمت کا جل تھل ہے یارو رمضاں آیا رمضاں آیا
The breeze of mercy fills the air, friends, Ramadan has come, Ramadan has come.
کہوں بالفاظِ دیگر تو پھر سے ماہِ قرآں آیا
Let me express in different words, once again, the month of the Quran has arrived.
آؤ تجارت رب سے کرلیں، نیکی سے مشکیزے بھرلیں
Let’s trade with the Lord, fill ourselves with goodness,
جس نے اس میں کی نہ کمائی، گھاٹا پایا، ارزاں آیا
Those who did not earn in it, suffered loss, became disgraced.
دیکھو دیکھو لپکو لپکو ستر فیصد اس میں منافع
Look, look, it holds seventy percent profit,
جس نے کی ہے اس میں کمائی شاداں ٹھہرا، فرحاں آیا
Those who earned in it, turned joyous and content.
ذکر و تراوح و روزہ سے اس کی خدمت کرتے رہنا
Keep serving through remembrance, prayers, and fasting,
تیس دنوں کے واسطے رمضاں، بن کر رب کا مہماں آیا
For thirty days, Ramadan has come as a guest of the Lord.
سنت کا اب اوڑھو لبادہ، یوں جینے کا کرلو ارادہ
Adorn yourself with the garment of Sunnah, make the intention to live like this,
صبح و شام عبادت سے اب خوب نکالو ارماں، آیا
From morning till night, fulfill your desires through worship, it has come.
عید کی اصلی خوشیاں اس نے پائیں جس نے روزے رکھے
The real joys of Eid are found by those who observe fasts,
سارے درد بھلانے اپنے دیکھو درد کا درماں آیا
See how the cure for all pains has arrived.
آقا صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا فرمان ہے مصعب
O Mus’ab, it’s the command of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him,
جس نے بخشش نہ کروائی اس میں، وہ تو ناداں آیا
The one who didn’t seek forgiveness in it, is indeed ignorant.
