وہ پیارا خلیفہ، وہ پیارا بشر ہے
The dear Caliph, the dear human being
وہ فاروقِ اعظمؓ، وہ حضرت عمرؓ ہے
The Farooq-e-Azam, he is Hazrat Umar (RA)
جو آقاؐ سے ملنے کو بےتاب آیا
He who came eager to meet the Prophet (PBUH)
جو ظلمت مٹانے کو مہتاب آیا
The light that came to crush all cruelty
جو بن کر نگہ دارِ اصحاب آیا
He came as the custodian of all
جو چالیسواں مردِ نایاب آیا
The fortieth to accept the faith
کتابِ ہُدیٰ کا نیا باب آیا
A new chapter in the book of guidance
مسلماں ہیں خوش، ابنِ خطاب آیا
The Muslims are happy for Ibn-e-Khattab has come
وہ اعلانِ دینِ مبیں کی سحر ہے
He is the dawn of the bright faith
وہ فاروقِ اعظمؓ، وہ حضرت عمرؓ ہے
The Farooq-e-Azam, he is Hazrat Umar (RA)
وہ، اسلام سے جس کے ایمان ابھرا
He, whose faith in Islam made it brighter
وہ، انصاف سے جس کے اسلام نکھرا
He, whose justice made Islam stronger
وہ، ماحول ہردم رکھا جس نے ستھرا
He, who maintained a pure environment
وہ، الفاظ پر جس کے قرآن اترا
He, whose words were in line with the Quran
وہ، ابلیس جس کی گلی سے نہ گزرا
He, whose path Satan dared not cross
نہیں ملتا ہر ایک کو ایسا جگرا
Everyone is not blessed with such courage
نبی اور صدیق کا ہم سفر ہے
A companion of the Prophet (PBUH) and Siddique (RA)
وہ فاروقِ اعظمؓ، وہ حضرت عمرؓ ہے
The Farooq-e-Azam, he is Hazrat Umar (RA)
ابو حفص کُنْیَت تھی حضرت عمرؓ کی
Abu Hafs was his other name
ہوئی اہلِ ایماں کی ماں جس کی بیٹی
Whose daughter became the mother of the faithful
ملی جس کو نسبت علیؓ فاطمہؓ کی
Who gained nearness to Ali (RA) and Fatima (RA)
بنی جس کی دلہن نبیؐ کی نواسی
Whose bride was the daughter of the Prophet (PBUH)
وہ یعنی مرادِ رسولِ الٰہی
He was the hope of the Prophet (PBUH)
ہمیں جس نے تاریخِ ہجری عطا کی
Who gave us the date of the Hijrah
وہ امت کا نانا ، نبیؐ کا سسر ہے
The grandfather of the Ummah, the father-in-law of the Prophet (PBUH)
وہ فاروقِ اعظمؓ، وہ حضرت عمرؓ ہے
The Farooq-e-Azam, he is Hazrat Umar (RA)
عیاں تھی فصاحت، بلاغت عمرؓ کی
Umar’s wisdom and articulation was apparent
عرب میں تھی جاری سفارت عمرؓ کی
His diplomacy reigned over Arabia
ببانگِ دُہل تھی شجاعت عمرؓ کی
His courage echoed boldly
نبیؐ نے سنائی بشارت عمرؓ کی
The Prophet (PBUH) made a prophecy for him
منظم تھی کتنی خلافت عمرؓ کی
His Caliphate rule was so organized
نرالی تھی سب سے شہادت عمرؓ کی
His martyrdom was one of a kind
اسامہ! دلوں میں جو اب تک اَمَر ہے
Usama! He who still lives in our hearts
وہ فاروقِ اعظمؓ، وہ حضرت عمرؓ ہے
