کسی زبان پہ میرا پیام آجائے
May my message come upon someone’s lips
درِ رسولﷺ پہ میرا بھی نام آجائے
May my name appear at the doorstep of the Prophet (PBUH)
میں سِسکتا ہوا آتا نبیؐ کی دید کو جب
I would have come weeping to catch a glimpse of the Prophet (PBUH)
کوئی یہ کہتا نبیؐ کا غلام آجائے
When someone would say ‘Let a slave of the Prophet (PBUH) come up’
میں ان کی یاد میں زار و قطار روتا رہوں
May I cry endlessly in his memory
خدایا اشکوں میں میرے دوام آجائے
O Lord! My my tears gain such permanence
میرا دل بھی مدینہ ہے میری جاں بھی مدینہ ہے
My heart and my life are Madinah
میرا تن من مدینہ ہے میری دھڑکن مدینہ ہے
My body and my heartbeat are Madinah
مدینے میں میرا آقاؐ میرے آقاؐ کی جنت ہے
In Madinah lies my Master (PBUH) and his heaven
خدا مجھ کو بھی پہنچادے اگر میری یہ قسمت ہے
May the Lord take me there if such is my fate
نبیؐ کی نعت سناتے یہ زندگی ہو ختم
May this life end while reciting praises of the Prophet (PBUH)
نبیؐ کے روضے پہ ہی اختتام آجائے
May I end at the grave of the Prophet (PBUH)
پڑھو درود و سلام ان پہ ادب سے ’ساقی‘
Recite the durood and salam upon Him (PBUH) with respect, Saqi
نظر جو پیارے نبیؐ کا مقام آجائے
When you see the place of the beloved Master (PBUH)
