مالکِ ارض و سماء اے الٰہی تو ہی ہے
O Almighty! You alone are the Master of the earth and the sky
ساری دنیا کا خدا اے الٰہی تو ہی ہے
O Almighty! You alone are Creator of the world
بادشاہوں کو گدا اور تو گدا کو بادشاہ
You make kings into paupers and beggars into kings
کردے پل میں کیا سے کیا اے الٰہی تو ہی ہے
You can transform things in a moment, O Almighty!
بحروبربھی ہر شجر بھی سب ستارے اور قمر بھی
The seas and the land, the trees, the stars, and the moon
کرتے ہیں جس کی ثنا اے الٰہی تو ہی ہے
All of them praise only You, O Almighty!
ان پرندوں کا چہچہانا ہر صبح گائیں ترانہ
The birds that chirp every morning, singing songs
یہ لگائیں یہ صدا اے الٰہی تو ہی ہے
Even they call out to you, O Almighty!
تو ہے مولا بس اکیلا تیرا ہمسر کون ہے
You are the Sustainer, You are alone, peerless
لَاِ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اَنتَ اے الٰہی تو ہی ہے
No one worthy of worship but You, O Almighty!
یہ زباں چھوٹی ہے یا رب کیا کرے تیری ثنا
This tongue is too small to express Your praise
کر سکے جوحق ادا اے الٰہی تو ہی ہے
Or do justice to Your power, O Almighty!
دیکھتاہےاس جہاں میں جوبھی اشؔعر ہےفانی سب
All that Ashar sees in this world, is mortal
جس کو ہے دائم بقا اے الٰہی تو ہی ہے
What endures is only You, O Almighty!
