میں تمہیں سناتا ہوں وہ کہانی طائف کی
Let me narrate to you the story of Taif
اشکِ خوں رلاتی ہے جو کہانی طائف کی
The story that brings forth tears of blood
سارے مکہ والوں کو جب بلایا آقاؐ نے
When the Master (PBUH) called all the people of Makkah
کلمہ پھر سنایا تھا میرے پیارے آقاؐ نے
When my Master (PBUH) recited the kalimah to them
سب کا دل دکھایا تھا گویا پیارے آقاؐ نے
They saw it as an attack on their beliefs
ظالموں نے آقاؐ کی باتوں کی مخالف کی
Those cruel people resisted the words of the Master (PBUH)
مشرکین مکہ نے خوب جب ستا ڈالا
When the Mushrikeen of Makkah had tortured Him (PBUH) a lot
آپؐ نے بھی طائف کو پھر قدم اٹھا ڈالا
He (PBUH) began his steps towards Taif
تین بدقماشوں کا بول بال تھا بالا
Three evil men were in control at the time
ان کمین لوگوں نے جگ ہنسی کی ہاتف کی
They mocked and ridiculed the Messenger
بات بھی تو کیا سنتے خوب طعنے دیتے تھے
They would mock but never listen
زخم قلبِ نازک کو وہ سیانے دیتے تھے
They would injure His (PBUH) sensitive heart so
داغ سب شرافت کو وہ دیوانے دیتے تھے
Those mad people cast aspersions on His (PBUH) noble nature
اپنی قسمتیں پھوڑی مان کر نہ عارف کی
They destroyed their own fate by not listening to the Knowledgeable One (PBUH)
سب آوارہ لڑکوں کو لے کے ایک سازش کی
They made a plot with the help of street urchins
ہر چہار جانب سے پتھروں کی بارش کی
And hit Him (PBUH) with stones from all sides
آپؐ نے مگر انکو بدعا نہ دی کوئ
But He (PBUH) never cursed them
خوں سے جوتیاں بھر دی صاحب وظائف کی
Even though they filled with blood the shoes of Him (PBUH) who always praised God
آپؐ کو ذلیلوں نے میل میل دوڑایا
Those miserable people made Him (PBUH) run for miles
ظلم اتنا کر دیا بے ہوشی پہ پہنچایا
Their cruelty caused Him (PBUH) to almost lose consciousness
تیرے پیارے آقاؐ واں اے سعید گرتے تھے
O Saeed, the dear Master (PBUH) was about to fall there
حرمتیں بھلا دی سب صاحب صحائف کی
Those people had forgotten how to honormen of the sacred book
