Those who barely saved their lives will ultimately die
زندہ رہنے کے شوقیں بھی اک دن مردہ کہلائیں گے
All those who enjoy this life will one day be among the dead
اک روز ہمارے مرنے کا اعلان مساجد سے ہوگا
One day our deaths will be announced from the mosque
اک روز ہمیں اپنے ہاتھوں سے زیرِ زمیں دفنائیں گے
One day they will bury us in the earth with theirs hands
جو حرص و ہوس کے صحرا کو گلشن سے تشبیہ دیتے ہیں
Those who compare this desert of greed and lust with a garden
وہ آگ کو پھول سمجھنے کی نادانی سے پچھتائیں گے
They will regret mistaking fire for a flower
ایماں کی حلاوت پانی ہو دربارِ رب میں عہد کریں
To gain the sweet comfort of faith, we must decide in the presence of God
رب کی خاطر آنکھوں پہ حیا کے پہرے دار بٹھائیں گے
We will appoint guards of modesty on our eyes
دنیا کی حقیقت کوجانیں اوراپنے آپ کو پہچانیں
Those who understand the reality of this world and recognize your Lord
وہ دونوں جہاں میں چین و سکوں کی اعلی نعمت پائیں گے
They will get the great blessing of peace in both the worlds
دنیا پہ فدا ہونے والوں کو اپنے نبیﷺ کی نسبت سے
By our ties to the Prophet (PBUH) with those who are obsessed with this world
یہ عارضی دنیا ہے لوگو! سمجھایا تھا سمجھائیں گے
We have explained that this world is temporary, and will keep explaining
