مغموم قبیلوں میں خوشیوں کو جگانا ہے
You have to spread joy among the dejected tribes
حالات کو قدموں میں یوں اپنے گرانا ہے
You have to bring circumstances down to their knees
دنیا کی مصیبت سے مفرور نہ ہونا تو
Do not flee from the travails of this world
خواہش کو کچلنا ہے جزبوں کو دکھانا ہے
You must crush your desires and reveal your passion
لہروں کے تھیڑوں کو یوں چیر نکلنا ہے
You must cut through the rising waves
کشتی کو بِنا ملاح ساحل پے لگانا ہے
And bring the vessel to the shore without a row man
حالات سے گھبرانا مسلم کا نہیں شیوا
A Muslim does not worry because of hard circumstances
دشمن کی صفوں میں بھی مسکان سجانا ہے
He smiles even on the enemy lines
افکار ہوں اپنے اور میدان بھی اپنا ہو
Aim to establish your ideals in your own domain
احکامِ خدا جب ہونظروں کو جھکانا ہے
You must lower your gaze when God gives the command
خوشحالی میں دینا بھی مشکل تو نہیں اتنا
It is not so difficult to be generous in prosperity
فاقہ ہو ترے اُوپر پھر ہاتھ بڑھانا ہے
But you must extend a giving hand when times are tough
دنیا کی سبھی طاقت اے زین تجھے کچلیں
O Zain, even if all the powers in the world try to crush you
مضبوط چٹانوں سا ایمان جتانا ہے
You must keep your faith as strong as a rock
