If you want to live with respect then become like the Companions

شہادت کی تمنّا ہے صحابہؓ جیسے بن جاٶ
If you desire martyrdom then become like the Companions

سیاست ہو امامت ہو طریقت ہو کہ دعوت ہو
In statesmanship, leadership, practices or preaching

خلوصِ قلب پانا ہے صحابہؓ جیسے بن جاٶ
To become sincere, become like the Companions

عمرؓ کے نام لیواٶں پہ ہے اب بزدلی غالب
The namesake of Umar (RA) have been overshadowed with cowardice

سرِ میدان لڑنا ہے صحابہؓ جیسے بن جاٶ
To fight boldly in battle become like the Companions

خدا کا ڈر بسالو دل میں اپنے موت ہے برحق
Make your heart God-fearing for death is certain

شبِ فرقت میں رونا ہےصحابہؓ جیسے بن جاٶ
Shed tears in the hours of separation, become like the Companions

نبیﷺ سے عشق کے دعوے تو کرتے ہو مگر سن لو
You claim to love the Prophet (PBUH), but listen

رہِ سنت پہ چلنا ہے صحابہؓ جیسے بن جاٶ
To practice the way of the Prophet (PBUH) become like the Companions

بتاٶ کیوں جہاں بھر میں یہ قبریں ہیں صحابہؓ کی؟
Say, why are the graves of the Companions scattered across the world

خدا کے دیں پہ مرنا ہے صحابہؓ جیسے بن جاٶ
To die for the sake of religion become like the Companions

گرادو غیرمحرم کے بتوں کو خانہِ دل سے
Banish the idols of forbidden strangers from your heart

خدا کو گَر بسانا ہے صحابہؓ جیسے بن جاٶ
To make your heart the abode of God become like the Companions

پریشاں حال امّت سے رہو تم آشنا سالک
Stay close to the miserable Ummah, O Salik

غمِ امت میں گُھلنا ہے صحابہؓ جیسے بن جاٶ
To become concerned for the Ummah become like the Companions
