نبیﷺ کی جتنی زوجہ تھیں نرالی شان والی تھیں
All the wives of the Prophet (PBUH) were unique in majesty
پیارا یہ رشتہ، نرالا ہے رشتہ
It is a lovely bond, a unique relationship
ہے کامیاب جو، سمبھالے یہ رشتہ
They are successful who can manage this relationship
زمانہ تیز ہے جلدی سے شادی ہو تو بہتر ہے
Time moves fast, so marrying young is better
مگر ہے یہ بھی خواہش بیوی سادی ہو تو بہتر ہے
But to have a simple wife would be even better
میں گھر جا کر اسے دیکھوں تو دل آرام پاتا ہو
My heart would feel so light to see her when I return home
میں جب دیکھوں اسے وہ مسکراتی ہو تو بہتر ہے
But to have her smile when I see her would be even better
کسی موقعے پہ کیسی بات کرنی ہے سمجھتی ہو
She should know perfectly well the right thing to say
کہاں خاموش رہنا ہے سمجھتی ہو تو بہتر ہے
But for her to know when to say nothing would be even better
اگرچہ یہ بھی خواہش ہے کہ خود بھی حور جیسی ہو
I do wish that she would be as pretty as a fairy
مگر گھر کو وہ جنت سا بناتی ہو تو بہتر ہے
But for her to make home into heaven would be even better
وہ دونوں حسن یعنی سیرت و صورت بھی رکھتی ہو
She should be beautiful in appearance and in character
علاوہ ان کے جو بولا ہے ویسی ہو تو بہتر ہے
But if she has all the above qualities it would be even better
نہ ایسی ہو کہ ہر دم ناک میں ہی دم کیے رکھے
I don’t want her to be a nuisance all the time
کبھی وہ شان تھوڑا سا ستاتی ہو تو بہتر ہے
But if she is sometimes annoying, Shan, it would be even better
