ہیں وحشت کے سائے میں اب سارے انساں
All the humans are now under the shadows of dread
بھلا دی ہے ہم نے جو تعلیم قرآں
As we have forgotten the teachings of the Quran
جو قرآں دوا ہے جو قرآں شفا ہے
The Quran which is the medicine, the cure
ہوئے طاق میں اس کو رکھ کر پریشاں
Our sadness began after we kept it in the nook
بیاں جس کی تعریف ہم کر نہ پائیں
We cannot praise it as it deserves
نہاں اس کے کن میں ہے تقدیر انساں
The fate of the human race lies hidden in its ‘Kun’
یہ قرآن بے شک ہے نور الہی
This Quran is undoubtedly the Divine Light
پلاتا ہے جو عاشقو کو جام عرفاں
It offers the drink of identity to His followers
وہ قرآن ظلمت کو جس نے مٹا کر
It is the Quran that eradicated injustice
جلایا جہاں میں ہے مصباح ایماں
And lit up the light of faith
یہ قرآن ابر کرم بن کے برسا
The Quran descended like the rain of mercy
ہے جاری کئے اس نے دریائےاحساں
And gave birth to many rivers of charity
یہ قرآں ہے بے شک چراغ ہدایت
For sure, the Quran is the lamp of guidance
کبھی روشنی اس کی پائے نہ شیطاں
The devil shall never attain its light
تو سلمان اب تو ذرا ہوش میں آ
Come to your senses now, O Salman
کہیں تو بھی ناداں بھلا دے نہ قرآں
Lest you too forget the Quran in negligence
