O ALLAH, O ALLAH, O ALLAH, O ALLAH!
عطا ہے شرفِ الٰہی ہمیں بشر جو بنایا
As a divine blessing we were created as human beings
خدا نے ساری خدائی کو نوکری پہ لگایا
The Lord placed the entire creation in our service
نظامِ دنیا بناکر ہَوا کو مفت چلایا
He created the system of nature and blessed us with air
حیاتیات کے پانی کو بادلوں سے گرایا
He poured down water from the clouds for all living beings
اٹھا کہ رزق کا ذمّہ اناج ہم کو کھلایا
He took responsibility for our food and gave us grain
قدم قدم پہ خدا نے کمال اپنا دکھایا
At every step He showed His brilliance
مگر تجھے یا الٰہی نہ جانے کیوں ہے بھلایا
But for what reason have we forgotten You, O ALLAH
یاالٰہی، یاالٰہی، یاالٰہی، یاالٰہی
O ALLAH, O ALLAH, O ALLAH, O ALLAH!
یہ چاند اور ستاروں سے آسماں کو سجایا
He embellished the sky with the moon and stars
سُلا کہ نیند سکوں کی صبح کو پھر سے جگایا
He gave us a peaceful sleep and woke us in the morning
بِٹھا کہ ایک جگہ پر اُٹھا کہ پھر سے چلایا
He let us sit in one place and then move to another
مزاج میرا بنا کر جینے کا ڈھنگ سکھایا
He built our character and taught us how to live
یہ موسموں کا بدلنا جہاں کا رنگ دکھایا
By changing the seasons He showed us the changing colours of nature
مگر ہے جانا تصور اگر خدا نے بلایا
Yet we must leave whenever He calls
میری دعا ہے الٰہی ملے وہ عرش کا سایہ
I pray, O ALLAH, to get the shade of the Heavens
یاالٰہی، یاالٰہی، یاالٰہی، یاالٰہی
O ALLAH, O ALLAH, O ALLAH, O ALLAH!
کھڑا ہوں تیرے میں در پر
I stand at Your doorstep
اذان سن کہ ہوں آیا
I have heard the call to prayer
ہوں گھٹنے ٹیک کہ بیٹھا
I sit on my knees
زمیں پہ سر کو جھکایا
And place my forehead on the ground
اٹھا کہ ہاتھ دعا کے
I raise my hands in supplication
خدا کو رو کہ بلایا
And call to God with tears
سکونِ قلب عطا کر
Bless me with peace of the heart
یہی ہوں آس میں لایا
This is my only hope
گناہوں سے تو بچالے
Save me from sins
بلاؤں سے ہے بچایا
You have protected me from evil
کوئی نہیں ہے تصور
There is no other solution
اداس ہو کہ ہو آیا
I have come here dejected
مری بھی جھولی تو بھردے
Bless me with Your gifts
دے مغفرت تو خدایا
Give me Your forgiveness, O Lord
یاالٰہی، یاالٰہی، یاالٰہی، یاالٰہی
