درسِ عیدالاضحی تو ایثار ہی ایثار ہے
The lesson of Eid al Adha is only kindness
چل کہ رب چاہی پہ ہی قربان کرنا پیار ہے
Come forth, for sacrificing according to God’s wish is love
دل میں رکھنا ہے ترازو تولنے جذبات ہیں
We must keep a balance in our heart to weigh our emotions
وزنی تو ہر حال رکھنے رب کے احکامات ہیں
The commands of God must always carry more weight
اب بڑھانی ہے ہمیں ایمان کی مقدار ہے
And we must now grow our faith
کم نہ پڑ جائے کہیں ہم سے خدا کی بندگی
Lest we fall short of the Lord’s worship
یاد ابراھیم کی ہم کو ہے رکھنی زندگی
We must remember the life of Ibrahim (AS)
اک نمونہ بن کہ آیا آپ کا کردار ہے
Your character has come as a perfect model
عید یہ پیغام لائی اک خدا پر ہو یقیں
Eid brings the message of belief in One God
ہو رہا ہے جو تصور غیر سے ہوتا نہیں
That which is happening cannot be perceived by others
ایک ہے معبود اپنا جو بڑا غفار ہے
Only one is worthy of worship who is Most forgiving
اک طرف والد کی صورت میں وہ ابراہیم ہے
On one hand stands Ibrahim (AS) as the father
دوسری جانب کھڑا چھوٹا سا اسماعیل ہے
And on the other hand Little Ismail (AS)
رب کی منشاء کے لئے گردن ہے اور تلوار ہے
In compliance with the Lord stand the neck and the sword
