The Eid crescent has appeared
ہے رونق خوشنما ہر سو چمن یہ مسکرایا ہے
The atmosphere is bright and pleasant, the garden full of smiles
مسلمانوں کی بستی میں ہلال عید آیا ہے
The Eid crescent has appeared in the abodes of the Muslims
ثمر ہے رب کی جانب سے یہ بندوں کی ریاضت کا
It is the reward for austerity from God to His worshippers
یقینا ایک تحفہ ہے الہی کی عنایت کا
Certainly, it is a gift of the Almighty’s favour
بہت سے رنگ بکھرے ہیں یہ ایسا جشن امت کا
Colours are spread everywhere as the Ummah celebrates
یہ مومن کے لئے سامان ہے ہر طور راحت کا
It brings relief to the believer in every way
سعادت ہے فضاوں میں کہ جیسے نور چھایا ہے
The atmosphere is blissful and permeated with light
مسلمانوں کی بستی میں ہلال عید آیا ہے

صدا تکبیر کی ہر سو نوید عید لائی ہے
Eid brings tidings of the Takbeer spreading all around, forever
نشاط زیست مہکی سی زماں میں مسکرائی ہے
The joys of life smile and spread their fragrance all around
سجے پکوان ہیں یوں چاشنی ہر سمت چھائی ہے
A feast is laid out and sweetness is spread everywhere
کہ اپنوں کی رفاقت ہے تو آنگن جگمگایا ہے
The home is lit up with the friendship of loved ones
مسلمانوں کی بستی میں ہلال عید آیا ہے
The Eid crescent has appeared in the abodes of the Muslims
بزرگوں کی محبت سے عبارت کارواں سارا
The entire caravan is blessed with the love of elders
کہ بچوں کی ہنسی سے ہے مکمل یہ سماں سارا
The laughter of the children completes the scene
بہار ایزدی سے ہے معطر گلستاں سارا
The Divine spring makes the entire garden fragrant
مسرت اور برکت سے منور ہے جہاں سارا
Happiness and blessings illuminate the entire universe
دلوں میں چار سو اک کیف کا عالم سمایا ہے
Every corner of the heart is blessed with calm
مسلمانوں کی بستی میں ہلال عید آیا ہے
The Eid crescent has appeared in the abodes of the Muslims
خوشی کے ان ترانوں میں سبھی کو یاد کرنا ہے
We must remember everyone in these songs of happiness
وہ جو ناشاد بیٹھے ہیں انہیں بھی شاد کرنا ہے
We must make joyful those who are without joy
ہمیں ہر گھر میں رونق عید کی آباد کرنا ہے
We must make every home light up with Eid
نبیؐ کے طرز پر وہ جذبئہ اجداد کرنا ہے
We must express the emotion of our elders in the spirit of the Prophet (PBUH)
یہی آقاؐ کی سنت سے پیام عید پایا ہے
We have received the message of Eid through sunnah of the Master (PBUH)
مسلمانوں کی بستی میں ہلال عید آیا ہے
The Eid crescent has appeared in the abodes of the Muslims
ہے یہ تہوار الفت کا روایت کو نبھانا ہے
It is the festival of love, we must carry forward this tradition
چراغ عید کو امت کے ہر گھر میں جلانا ہے
We must light the lamp of Eid in every home of the Ummah
یہ جشن عید ایثار و سخاوت سے منانا ہے
We must celebrate this festival with selflessness and brotherhood
مٹا کے ہر تفاوت کو گلے سب کو لگانا ہے
We must cast aside all differences and embrace everyone
یہ روز عید اخلاص و مہر کا اک کنایہ ہے
This day of Eid is a symbol of sincerity and kindness
