مشکلات نے ایسا توڑا ہے
Troubles have broken me so
سب خوشیوں نے منہ موڑا ہے
Every joy has turned away its face
طوفانِ مہنگائی ایسا ہے
The price for everything has increased
سب خرچ ہوا جو جوڑا ہے
All that was saved is now spent
حکمرانوں سے نہ گلہ ہے
I have no complaints against the rulers
نہ یاروں سے کویٔی شکوہ ہے
Nor any lament against my friends
اپنےہی اعمال کا صلہ ہے
It is all the harvest of my deeds
جو آج ہمیں ملا ہے
What I am reaping today
ایمان نہ پختہ ہمارا ہے
My faith is not at all strong
نہ نیکیوں کا کویٔی سہارا ہے
I have no good deeds to support me
کردار بھی اپنا ناکارہ ہے
My character is worthless
یوں اپنا آپ بگاڑا ہے
So have I destroyed myself
جانب رب ہمیں لوٹنا ہے
We have to return to our Lord
درِ خدا پر جھکنا ہے
And bow at His door
اطاعتِ آقاﷺ کرنا ہے
We have to follow the Master (SAW)
گر خوشیوں سے دامن بھرنا ہے
If we are to gather happiness
مشکلات سے کبھی نہ ڈرنا ہے
Never be afraid of difficulties
تاریخِ انبیاء کو پڑھنا ہے
Read the histories of the prophets
غیروں سے کبھی نہ مانگنا ہے
Never spread your hands before strangers
اسلام پہ جینا مرنا ہے
Live and die in the service of Islam
ہرعذاب اُسی نے ٹالنا ہے
He alone will turn away affliction
آزمائش سے اس نے نکالنا ہے
He will deliver you from every test
بس اللہ ہی سے مانگنا ہے
Ask everything from ALLAH (SWT) alone
تب سب جنت بن جانا ہے
Then will everything become Paradise
