اداس دل کی دکھی کہانی
غموں میں الجھی ہے زندگانی
فقط تیری یاد میرے مولا
عطا کرے شجر ِجاں کو پانی
اے میرے مولا میں تھک گیا ہوں
نجانے کیوں دور تک گیا ہوں
میری سیاہ شب کو نور کر دے
میں تیری راہ سے بھٹک گیا ہوں
گناہ کے بادل ، دکھوں کے سائے
وہ یادِ عصیاں مجھے ستائے
سکون ِدل اب کہاں سے پاؤں
یہ غم ہر اک پل مجھے رولائے
ہر ایک دنیا کی جھوٹی لذت
بیان کرتی ہے یہ حقیقت
حقیر تر ہے یہ مال و دنیا
حسین تر ہے وہ رب کی جنت
آے میرے مولا سکون عطا کر
کچھ اس طرح کا تو فیصلہ کر
ہر ایک نعمت کہ حوصلہ دے
ہر ایک غفلت میری بھلا کر
آے مولا عزت مآب کر دے
کچھ ایسا میرا حساب کر دے
عدل نہیں، رحمتوں سے اپنے
ہر اک گناہ کو ثواب کر دے
English Lyrics:
The sad story of a sad heart.
Life is tangled in sorrows.
Only your memory, my Lord.
Gives water to my tree of life.
O my Lord, I am tired.
I don’t know why I have gone so far.
Lighten my dark night.
I have strayed from your path.
Clouds of sin, shadows of sorrow.
The memory of those sins haunts me.
Where can I find peace of mind now?
This grief makes me cry every moment.
Every false pleasures of this world.
Explains this fact.
Despicable is this wealth and the world.
The Lord’s paradise is far more beautiful.
O my lord, give me peace.
Decide something like this.
Every blessing should encourage me.
Forgive me for every negligence.
O my Lord, make me honourable.
Do something like this for me.
Not justice, but with YOUR blessings.
