غمی اور خوشی میں میری پیاری ماں ہے
She is my dear mother in sorrows and joys.
میری ساری دنیا میری پیاری ماں ہے
My whole world is my dear mother.
مشقت میں مجھ کو ہے پالا اسی نے
She has raised me through hardships.
خود ہی جاگ کر ہے سلایا اسی نے
She would stay up until I was asleep.
میں رویا تو رویٔی میری پیاری ماں ہے
When I cried, so did my dear mother.
مجھے رفتہ رفتہ سکھایا اسی نے
She taught me gradually.
رہی بھوکی خود اور کِھلایا اسی نے
She herself remained hungry and fed me.
مشقت میں رہتی میری پیاری ماں ہے
Living in hardship, my dear mother.
ہے کیسا تعلق نہ کویٔی غرض ہے
What a relationship in which there is no greed.
نہ چُھوٹے کبھی اِن سے ایسا فرض ہے
It is a duty that never fails.
محبت میں مخلص میری پیاری ماں ہے
Sincere in love is my dear mother.
اسی کی محبت میں دنیا چھپی ہے
The world is hidden in her love.
اسی کے ہی قدموں میں جنت بسی ہے
Heaven is in under her feet.
سمیع تیری جنت تیری پیاری ماں ہے
Sami, your heaven is your beloved mother.
