مولا
کاش رہتا میں حرم میں
دیکھتا رہتا میں روضہ رسولؐ کو
محبوبؐ کے عشق میں آنسو بہاتا
اللہ
آپؐ کے حرم میں عشق کا کشکول ہوتا میرے گلہ میں
محبتِ رسولؐ میں بے تاب ہوتا
کاش ننگے پاؤں حرم میں گھومتا
یا مولا
اور آپؐ کا دیدار کرتا
آپؐ کے دربار میں خادم ہوتا اور خدمت میں مصروف ہوتا
محبت میں بمثلِ بلال رضی تعالی عنہ ہوتا
اور آپؐ پر فدا ہوتا
آپؐ کی مدحت میں اشعار پڑھتا
حضرت حسان بن ثابت رضی تعالی عنہ کی طرح
اشعارمیں لکھتا

آپؐ پر قربان ہوتا
دربارِ اقدس کو اپنے پلکوں سے صاف کرتا
باعثِ مسرت ہے آپؐ کے جلوے اے نبی خیرالابرارﷺ
آپ کی محبت ہماری لیے غذا ہوتی اے صاحب الجمال
درود پیش کرتا اور روضہؐ کی جھالیوں کو بوسہ دیتا
اور اس طرح کی حالات میں اپنی زندگی گزارتا
ننگے سر اور ننگے پاؤں آپؐ کی دہلیز پر بیٹھا رہتا
دل میں آپؐ کی یاد ہوتی اور نظر روضہؐ مبارک پر ہوتی
دل کے آرماں پورہ کرتا اور کچھ نہ کرتا
اپنے جلے ہوئے دل کو آپؐ کے دیدار سے منور کرتا
یہی آرمان ہے اختر جانؔ کے دل میں
سرکار دو عالمﷺ پر میرا سب کچھ قربان ہے
نعتیں لکھتا اور قلم میرا چلتا
نعتیں لکھتا اور قلم میرا چلتا
محبوبؐ کے حسین چہرے کا صفت بیان کرتا رہتا

Maula Maula Maula
I wish i lived in Haram
I would watch the Roza of PROPHET (S.A.W)
I would shed tears in the love of PROPHET (S.A.W)
Allah Allah Allah
In my neck I would have placed the bowl of love of PROPHET (S.A.W)
I would have been anxious in the love of PROPHET (S.A.W)
I would wander bare footed in the Haram
Oh Maula
And would have seen the PROPHET (S.A.W)
I would be a slave of PROPHET (S.A.W) and serve him in his Haram
I would love him like Bilal (R.A)
I would have sacrificed myself upon him
I would write poems for PROPHET (S.A.W)
I would have written verses like Hassaan Bin Saabit (R.A)
Oh Maula
I would have sacrificed myself upon him
I would have wiped his Haram with my eye lashes
Oh the righteous for the right doers your actions would have pleased us
Oh the most elegant your love would have been food for us
I would have kissed the doors of Haram
I would have passed my life in this situation
I would have sit upon the doors of Haram bare headed and bare footed
The remembrance of PROPHET (S.A.W) in heart and eyes upon the Roza of PROPHET (S.A.W)
Just full filled these wishes and i would have done nothing else
I would have lightened my darkened heart with your light
This is the only wish of ‘Akhtar Jaan’
I would have sacrificed myself upon him
