حبیبِ خدا کا میں گھر دیکھ لوں
Let me behold the house of the Beloved of God.
مدینے کے دیوار و در دیکھ لوں
Let me see the walls and doors of Madina.
وہ سونے سے کنکر وہ ارضِ حسیں
Those golden pebbles, that beautiful land,
جہاں میرے سرکار ﷺ ہوتے مکیں
Where my beloved Prophet ﷺ resided.
نبی ﷺ جی کا سہنڑا شہر دیکھ لوں
Let me see the blessed city of the Prophet ﷺ.
خدا مجھ پہ کردے تو اپنا کرم
O Allah, shower me with Your mercy,
مقدر میں لکھ دے تو سوئے حرم
And write in my fate a journey to the Haram.
مدینے کی شام و سحر دیکھ لوں
Let me witness the evenings and mornings of Madina.
بھٹک جاؤں اکثر میں طیبہ کو جا کر
Often I wander, lost in love, upon reaching Taybah,
پھروں چار سو میں وہاں لو لگا کر
Roaming all around, my heart fully absorbed.
مدینے کی گلیاں، نگر دیکھ لوں
Let me see the streets and the town of Madina.
رسالت ﷺ کے دربار تک جا سکوں
May I reach the court of the Messenger ﷺ,
نبوت ﷺ کے فیضان کو پا سکوں
And receive the blessings of Prophethood.
میں روضے کی جالی وہ گھر دیکھ لوں
Let me see the blessed lattice, that sacred house.
مدینے میں پھیلا عجب نور ہے
An extraordinary light spreads throughout Madina,
مگر فانیؔ تجھ سے بہت دور ہے
But Fani, you are still far from it.
خدایا میں کاش اک نظر دیکھ لوں
O Allah, if only I could see it — just once, with my eyes.
