مرا فاروقِ اعظمؓ ہے، مرا فاروقِ اعظمؓ ہے
He is my Farooq-e-Azam (R.A), yes, he is my Farooq-e-Azam (R.A).
نبیؐ نے جس کو مانگا، خدا نے جس کو بھیجا
The one the Prophet (S.A.W) prayed for, the one whom ALLAH sent.
رضائے ربِّ عالم ہے، مرا فاروقِ اعظمؓ ہے
He is the pleasure of the Lord of the worlds — my Farooq-e-Azam (R.A).
نبیؐ مانگے جسے کعبہ کا پَلّہ تھام کر رب سے
The one the Prophet (S.A.W) asked for, clinging to the cloth of the Kaaba.
نرالی شان سے آیا نبیؐ کی بزم میں جب سے
Since he entered the Prophet’s (S.A.W) gathering with unmatched grace,
ہوا منہ کفر کا کالا، وہ اک ایسا ہے اُجالا
Falsehood was disgraced — such a radiant light he became!
صحابہؓ میں معظّم ہے، مرا فاروقِ اعظمؓ ہے
Among the Companions, he holds high honor — my Farooq-e-Azam (R.A)
وہ آیا جس کی آمد سے ملی اسلام کو عزت
He came, and Islam gained glory through his arrival.
وہی شمشیر سے جس کی سدا سہمی رہی ظلمت
Darkness forever trembled at the strike of his sword.
محمدؐ کا وہ سپاہی، علی حیدرؓ کا بھائی
He was the soldier of Muhammad (S.A.W), the brother of Ali (R.A) the brave.
عدالت کا وہ پرچم ہے، مرا فاروقِ اعظمؓ ہے
He is the banner of justice — my Farooq-e-Azam (R.A).
وہ جس کے ایک دُرّے سے زمیں طیبہ کی تھم جائے
One strike of whose whip could bring all of Madinah to silence.
رکا پانی چلے خط سے، ہوا بھی حکم پہنچائے
Water would flow at his command, and even the wind obeyed.
عمرؓ ہے مردِ قلندر، عمرؓ ہے دل کے اندر
Umar (R.A) is a free-spirited man, Umar (R.A) lives within our hearts.
مرے زخموں کا مرہم ہے، مرا فاروقِ اعظمؓ ہے
He is the balm for my wounds — my Farooq-e-Azam (R.A).
عمرؓ نے کفر کو تِگنی کا ناچ ایسا نچایا ہے
Umar (R.A) made disbelief dance in utter defeat.
عمرؓ کے نام سے ہر ایک مشرک تھر تھرایا ہے
At Umar’s (R.A) very name, every idolater trembled in fear.
وہ ایسا مردِ جواں ہے، وہ ایسا حق کا نشاں ہے
Such a courageous man, such a symbol of truth.
وہ جس سے کفر برہم ہے، مرا فاروقِ اعظمؓ ہے
He who shattered disbelief — my Farooq-e-Azam (R.A).
لکھی عثمان اختر نے عمرؓ کی منقبَت پیاری
Usman Akhtar wrote this lovely praise of Umar (R.A).
زباں پر زید کی اللہ نے کی خوب یہ جاری
By Allah’s grace, Zaid recites it beautifully on his tongue.
لکھیں گے لاکھوں لکھاری، رہے گا فیض یہ جاری
Millions will continue to write, and this blessing will live on.
عمرؓ تو دل ہے جانَم ہے، مرا فاروقِ اعظمؓ ہے
Umar (R.A) is my heart, my very soul — my Farooq-e-Azam (R.A)
